Carrying your baby and parenting your child is an option for all women but you may have many questions about what choosing this option will mean for you and your family. With this choice, you need commitment and support. We’d love to help develop a support network and plan if you decide this is the right choice.
You may have more questions than answers about parenting or maybe the thought of becoming a parent seems impossible to you at this time. We’ve talked to hundreds of clients who are concerned about things like this:
- My husband or boyfriend doesn’t want the baby but I do

We can talk about all these issues with you so you can decide if parenting is right for you.
What can I expect during my pregnancy?
Our trained counselors and mentors can answer your questions about pregnancy, such as the changes occurring to your body, how the baby develops, and how best to care for your health. We can help you find good prenatal care and all the resources you need for a safe and healthy pregnancy, delivery, and beyond.
Is keeping my baby right for me?
Raising a child is a life-long adventure. A lot of research is available on different parenting options. It’s important to explore these options so you have the tools you need to make an informed decision.
How will having a baby affect my future?
We understand that pregnancy and parenthood are filled with uncertainty. That is why TLC of Hastings offers a wide range of prenatal, parenting and life skills education.
It’s your choice. We will partner with you to help you become the best parent possible. You have time during your pregnancy to learn what to expect and to explore how you want to parent. We will listen to your thoughts and concerns as we walk this road together.

TLC has many wonderful classes for new and expecting moms. There were some things that i never knew that i now can implement with my little one thanks to TLC! Their Baby Cafe is amazing and SUCH a great support group for new moms who are nursing. I had some issues in the beginning with my daughter and getting her to latch right. The people there have always been SO support of anything i have needed and are honestly so invested in you and your babies lives. They truly care about you. Such a safe place and its so welcoming.
